From the Editors at Progressive Power.
This is the compound of the now deposed Russia friendly oligarchical President of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovych.  He built this even as his people were living in Soviet style poverty. The people, tired of poverty and corruption revolted. He fled to Russia ending the revolution in February of 2014.
One of his top officials was Mykola Zlochevsky, founder of Burisma, the energy company in the news lately.  and the focus of multiple corruption investigations.
Before Hunter Biden joined Burisma, U.K. authorities opened a money-laundering investigation and froze $23 million in company funds until the investigation in Burisma was complete.  They could not get any of the information they needed from the company and had to release the funds for lack of evidence.
This is the corruption that Shokin, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine was NOT investigating.  It was that lack of investigation that had the US, the EU, and the IMF  calling for Shokin to be fired in 2015.  And as with any political body, there were forces in Ukraine that resisted that idea.  Joe Biden was appointed to the task of persuading the powers that be that it would be best to have someone who would investigate corruption.   And in 2016, that is what he did.

The new Prosecutor General has opened several investigations.

Anything else is noise.  Distraction.

This is not an endorsement of Biden.  Just information for consideration.
