Donald Trump jumps on the Ashli Babbitt conspiracy theory bandwagon. Donald Trump has dived into the far-right attempt to turn Ashli Babbitt into a martyr. Yes, Babbitt was killed by Capitol Police as she tried to enter the Speaker’s Lobby during the attack on the U.S. Capitol, climbing through a broken window just feet from where members of Congress were being taken to safety.
